Bunkd is operated by Mendly Labs. You can permanently delete your account and your personal data at any time, directly from the app — you do not need to contact us, and you do not need a reason.
If you have lost access to your account — for example you no longer have the phone number you signed up with — email us and we will delete it for you:
Write to privacy@mendlylabs.tech from the email address on the account, or include the phone number you registered with, so we can verify the request. We respond within 30 days, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
When you delete your account, the following are permanently erased:
People you had matched with will see that you deleted your account. They cannot see your profile, your photos or your messages afterwards.
A small amount of data survives deletion because the law requires it, or because it contains nothing that identifies you. We keep the minimum, for the shortest period we are permitted to.

None of the retained items can be used to rebuild your profile or to contact you.
Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account. Your profile stays visible to other users until you delete it using one of the methods above.
